All these facilities are platform features fully described in the
Handheld Platform for MobileMapper 100, ProMark 100 &
ProMark 200 Getting Started Guide.
Once the SIM-card related connections have been set up,
initiating a connection to acquire RTK corrections is entirely
controlled from the Link tab in ProMark Field when
configuring the rover. All the internal processes involved in
the connection will be activated automatically.
It should however be noted that when you are finished with
your work, you should end the connection manually. This can
be done:
• From the Connectivity icon in the title bar (quick
procedure),
• Or by tapping the Disconnect button on the Link tab of the
rover settings screen (neat procedure).
You should remember that the connection will not end
automatically when you quit ProMark Field.
Conversely, the internal Auto-dial function has been
deactivated intentionally to reduce the cost of your mobile
communications. This means that every time you turn on your
receiver and start a new session with ProMark Field, you will
have to re-activate the connection from the Link tab.
Logging Points • Set up the rover as explained in Choosing the Survey Type
and Mode on page 27.
• Turn on the receiver, run ProMark Field and create a job
as explained in Creating a New Job on page 10.
•On the Options menu, select “Stop & Go Kinematic” and
“Real-time” on the Survey tab, then tap OK.
• Think about which initialization method you will be using
at the beginning of the project and take the corresponding
steps:
– On the Fly: Nothing special needs to be done.
– From Known Point: Go to the known point and place
the rover antenna exactly over this point.
– From Bar: Go to the base (fitted with the initializer bar)
and place the rover antenna at the free end of the
initializer bar.
– Statically: You will stay static for a while on a point of
your choice.
•Tap Menu and select Configuration...
• Select “Rover” from the Configuration drop-down list.
